Nature's Poker Face

In May 2012, five months before Hurricane Sandy, I made a documentary with Taylor Beck and Conor Myhrvold in my science writing program about the increasing risk of hurricanes in a warmer world caused by global warming. Sandy could not have been a clearer indicator that this isn't just a major issue for future generations- it's affecting us NOW.
